As a peer-led model, we recruit heavily from our participant base and prioritize people with lived expertise in our hiring.
Twenty-five percent of our staff are former OnPoint participants, and ninety percent have personal or family experiences with criminal legal system involvement, drug use, or housing instability.
In order to ensure we are equipping our staff and participants with skills and education they can leverage for economic mobility and long-term stabilization, we provide a growing array of training and classes. This includes basic, intermediate, and advanced computer classes, resume-building sessions, and volunteer and employment reentry opportunities.
