Volunteering with OnPoint NYC
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with OnPoint NYC. Please read below for information on the volunteer onboarding process, sign up for an upcoming volunteer orientations, and available opportunities.

Onboarding Process
Attend volunteer orientation
We host these orientations 1-2 times a month, and the only way to be notified is by filling out the form below.
Fill out volunteer enrollment paperwork
This paperwork must be completed in-person during volunteer orientation.
Complete Online Sexual Harassment Training
This training is roughly 1 hour and will be sent out after orientation. Volunteers must complete the training provided by OnPoint as required by New York State.
ACHIEVE GENERAL VOLUNTEER STATUS
After completing these steps, volunteers will achieve "general volunteer status," enabling candidates to be invited for volunteer opportunities.
General volunteers have the opportunity to help with harm reduction kit packing, resume workshops, holiday events, community syringe cleanups, and more. These events include weekday, evening, and weekend opportunities.
General volunteers also have the opportunity to apply and interview for additional responsibilities in our clinic and/or holistic departments. This information is sent out after volunteer orientation.
Note that we do not take volunteers in our overdose prevention centers.
