OnPoint NYC vigorously advocates for social justice and strives to address adverse outcomes among people who use drugs or engage in sex work by providing the resources, tools, and support they need to enhance the quality of their lives and live with dignity.
We combat stigma and embrace people who use drugs and engage in sex work instead of pushing them to the margin.
Our Approach
Our continuum of care embodies dignity and promotes healing. Through love, not punishment, staff support participants to heal and stabilize their lives with agency.
Informed by participants, we prioritize holistic care, aiming to improve health outcomes for our community members who are often marginalized by society.
We provide comprehensive services like clinical care, mental health counseling, case management, drug checking, outreach and public safety, and Overdose Prevention Centers, all under one roof.
By maintaining a ‘closed-loop’ service provision, we ensure seamless, compassionate care without barriers, fostering stabilization and healing in a supportive, loving environment.
OnPoint NYC was formed through decades of community-led organizing, care, and response to evolving needs in New York City. Officially established in 2022 through the merger of NYHRE and Washington Heights Corner Project, our work builds on a long legacy of meeting people where they are and strengthening communities through connection and care.
